Like many of you reading this, I too was stuck in relationships that I felt only took from me. It seemed like the more I gave, the more they needed or wanted from me. And I rose to the occasion. I did more because in my mind, eventually, they would realize that I was important and valuable.
I was diagnosed with daily migraines headaches. I worked 16 hours a day. I felt pulled between
my children, my mate, my family, my friends, and my career. Nothing I did seemed like it was good
I quit. I resigned from my job, my relationship, my home, my car, and I let everything fall. It was terrible.
I had to face the very thing I had feared - that all my efforts would lead me with nothing. And there
I was living between my mom and my dad homes with nothing but a car and a tote with my clothes.
I started my Ph.D. and learned about how the brain works. I learned about mindset and limiting belief.
I learned that we are creatures of habits. I learned about the human, not the disorder (which is what
I was taught as a social worker). I learned about neuroplasticity and how you can change your brain, beliefs, and habits. And I took all that information, added it to my experiences, and courageously set out to help people shape their lives. And I created a framework called STOP IT NOW!
